GEM Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist contractor delivering
water control, waterproofing and grouting solutions across the mining, civil and infrastructure sectors.
We're seeking an experienced
Team Lead / Supervisor to lead field crews on a range of projects throughout Western Australia. Based from the company's
Bibra Lake facility, this hands-on role will involve a combination of workshop preparation and FIFO assignments as required.
About the Role: - Leading and supervising waterproofing and grouting crews across local and FIFO projects.
- Planning and coordinating daily site activities, labour, equipment and materials.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Conducting pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site inspections.
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring works are completed to specification and schedule.
- Mentoring and supporting field crews to achieve quality outcomes.
- Completing site reports and maintaining project documentation.
- Assisting with technical problem-solving and on-site decision making.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: - Previous experience leading teams within waterproofing, grouting or remedial construction.
- Hands-on experience with grouting, water sealing, crack injection or underground waterproofing within the mining, civil or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience working on mining, civil, infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Construction White Card (essential).
- The ability to travel and work on FIFO rosters as required.
- MUST have full Australian working rights.
