Solar & Battery Electrician $150K+ plus super | Work Ute + Fuel card provided
We're looking for an experienced Solar & Battery Electrician to join our client’s team full-time and permanently.
You'll work across residential and commercial solar and battery installations throughout Perth and WA, with opportunities to get involved in regional and remote projects. Optional overtime available if you'd like to earn more. You'll also have a company fuel card provided, with travel arrangements organised for applicable jobs away from home.
What you'll be doing - Installing solar PV systems, inverters and battery storage across residential and commercial sites.
- Testing, commissioning and fault-finding to make sure systems are installed and operating correctly.
- Making sure all work meets electrical standards, safety requirements and accreditation guidelines.
- Completing job paperwork, test results, photos and commissioning documents.
- Communicating with customers and the team to keep jobs running smoothly.
- Taking responsibility for the quality of your work and sorting out issues as they arise.
- Working alongside apprentices and other team members when required.
- Travelling to regional and remote WA sites when projects call for it.
What we're looking for You'll need to be a licensed electrician in WA, with current Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) accreditation for grid-connected solar PV and battery installation.
We're also looking for someone with:
- Solid, hands-on experience installing solar and battery systems.
- Experience with both residential and commercial work, including commercial solar or battery projects.
- Good testing, commissioning and troubleshooting skills.
- A strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
- A reliable, professional approach and pride in doing a good job.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to travel for regional and remote projects when required.
Around five years of solar industry experience would be great, but it's not a strict requirement. We're more interested in your practical experience, the quality of your work and what you can bring to our client's team.
