Shop Fitter
GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a skilled local based Shopfitter to work across various locations within the Perth metro area. This is a short-term 8-week project with a reputable company specialising in high-end beauty retail fit outs. The role will involve the installation of custom fixtures, cabinetry, and displays in premium retail environments.
About the Role: We are seeking candidates with shop fitting or commercial carpentry experience to join our team for a high spec retail rollout. You will be involved in detailed fit outs for well-known beauty brands, with a strong focus on presentation, precision, and finish.
We are looking for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a passion for craftsmanship. You will be joining a supportive team committed to maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: - Installation of shelving, display units, counters, racking, and joinery
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical plans
- Confident use of carpentry and power tools for precise installations
- High attention to detail and finishing work to client-ready standards
- Collaborate with the team to ensure deadlines are met across the 8-week timeframe
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe worksite in client-facing environments
To be considered for these positions, you must be able to provide the following: - Proven shop fitting or carpentry experience
- Ability to work unsupervised and take ownership of tasks
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety practices
- White Card and full set of own tools (Essential)
- Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent (Essential)
- EWP or Working at Heights ticket (Highly regarded)
- Must be based in Perth and have the right to work in Australia
