Project Manager - Construction

About the role
  
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join a well-established, award-winning construction team in Perth. This role will see you take full ownership of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

You will be working on a diverse portfolio of commercial, hospitality, heritage, and fitout projects, collaborating closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. The role requires a strong leader with excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills who can build trusted relationships and drive successful outcomes.
 
Duties include
  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects from tender award through to handover.
  • Develop and monitor project programs, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to achieve project milestones.
  • Oversee site activities and ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Chair project meetings, prepare reports, and manage stakeholder communication.
  • Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring accountability and performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
  • Ensure variations, progress claims, and financial reporting are accurately managed.
 
To be considered for these positions, you must be able to provide the following: 
  • Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction (heritage or fitout experience desirable).
  • Proven track record in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, project reporting, and compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Current driver’s licence.
