About the Role: GEM Resourcing is currently seeking an experienced
Mobile Crane Mechanic for a well-established equipment service provider based in Thornlie. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a mix of workshop and field-based work across a wide range of heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of equipment, including:
- Truck-mounted, Crawler, and All Terrain Cranes
- Vehicle Loading Cranes
- Skip and Hook Loaders
- Straddle Carriers
- Truck-mounted EWPs (Elevated Work Platforms)
- Forklifts
- Hi-lift Airport Support Vehicles
Requirements: - Minimum 5 years’ experience working on mobile cranes
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Crane or rigging tickets (highly regarded)
- Ability to work independently in both workshop and field environments
- Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
- HR or MR truck licence (advantageous but not essential)
- Based already in Perth, WA.
- Have the right to work in Australia.
