GEM Resourcing is currently seeking
experienced Site Supervisors to work back-to-back on an
8:6 FIFO roster for a construction project in the Ravensthorpe region of WA.
This is a hands-on supervisory role managing a crew of approximately 13 personnel across two project locations, overseeing the dismantling, transport, re-erection and fit-out of modular and transportable buildings.
The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of daily site activities, including:
- Supervising and coordinating a crew of approximately 13 personnel
- Conducting daily pre-starts, Take 5s and JHAs
- Allocating daily tasks and managing workforce productivity
- Permit control and site compliance
- Managing project hold points
- ITP completion and sign-off
- Coordinating plant, equipment and materials
- Monitoring daily progress against project requirements
- Completing daily labour hours and progress reporting
- Liaising directly with the Project Manager
- Interfacing with the Principal's Representative
- Managing the dismantling sequence of transportable buildings
- Coordinating building load-out and load restraint activities
- Overseeing the re-erection and fit-out sequence at the receiving site
- Maintaining safety, quality and productivity standards throughout the project
About You To be considered, you must have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience supervising construction crews in WA
- At least 2 years' supervisory experience on mine sites
- Proven experience managing construction crews in remote environments
- Direct experience dismantling and re-erecting modular or transportable buildings
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, permits, ITPs and hold points
- Experience coordinating plant, materials, trades and subcontractors
- Confidence working on greenfield sites where established services may not be available
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to liaise professionally with project management and client representatives
- Good computer literacy and confidence using digital site reporting systems
Previous modular or transportable building experience is essential. Candidates should be able to provide specific examples of projects where they have supervised the dismantling and re-erection of buildings.
Essential Tickets & Requirements
- Construction Induction / White Card
- Section 26 Supervisor Training under the Mines Safety and Inspection Act – mandatory prior to site access
- Current WA C Class Driver's Licence
No additional tickets are required.
A site vehicle, communications equipment and tablet will be supplied.
Supervisors must be comfortable using the
Site Docs app, with mobilisation requirements, plant inspections, inductions and daily reporting completed digitally.
