At the moment, we’re recruiting for commercial and residential projects SOR and NOR across Perth for the following positions:
- Carpenters
- Leading Hand Carpenters
Construction Projects & Tasks Depending on the Company and project, you could be working across a range of residential and commercial construction sites, including new builds, renovations, fit-outs, refurbishments and maintenance works.
Tasks may include:
- Framing and structural carpentry
- Roofing and external works
- Formwork and concrete preparation
- Door, window and hardware installation
- Fixing, skirting, architraves and finishing
- Cabinetry, wardrobes and fit-outs
- Decking and outdoor structures
- Gyprock, patching and general repairs
- Reading plans and setting out work
- Using hand and power tools
- General site maintenance and clean-up
- Working alongside other trades to keep projects moving
- Following site safety, WHS and quality requirements
Projects can vary from residential homes and renovations through to commercial fit-outs, developments, maintenance and larger construction projects.
What We’re Looking For - Can read plans and confidently get stuck into the job
- Can work independently and take ownership of their tasks
- Takes pride in their work and delivers a quality finish
- Reliable, punctual and confident on the tools
- Cares about safety and looks out for the team
- Holds a recognised Carpentry trade qualification
- Perth-based with the right to work in Australia
