GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a Trade Qualified Boilermaker/Welder in Maddington, WA 6109. This position is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable company within the Heavy Structural Space. The job will require you to work with beams, collumns and other structural steel.
About the role: We are looking for candidates who have experience with Structural Steel Welding & Fabrication. This is a family-type environment, so it is suited to someone who can thrive in that environment and is strictly looking to work at a company long-term. This role is a tradesmen position that has some basic leadership responsibilities to work with the supervisor.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: - MIG & TIG Welding skills
- Heavy Structural steel experience is very important
- Read and interpret workshop/engineering drawings.
- Ability to prioritise work tasks
- Set up jigs
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Hold a mechanical aptitude
