Aluminium Welder & Fabricator
GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a Trade-Qualified Aluminium Fabricator in Cockburn, WA 6164. This position is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable company in the mechanical space. The job will require you to work with transport equipment and large fuel tankers.
About the role:
We are looking for candidates who have experience with Aluminium Welding and Fabrication. The work involved is both MIG and TIG based work. This is a family-type environment, so it is suited to someone who can thrive in that environment and is strictly looking to work at a company long-term. This role is a full-time tradesman position with some basic leadership responsibilities.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: - Aluminium welding and fabrication skills
- Read and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
- Ability to prioritise work tasks
- Set up jigs
- Comfortable working inside tankers if required
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Hold a mechanical aptitude
- Attend site and obtain clear & accurate scope of works
- Measure and document dimensions for aluminium product range
- Assist co-workers and provide support to other functions within the division as required
- Maintain exceptional standards for safety compliance and quality assurance
- Manage customer relationships on site & provide information back to office and admin team
- Provide customers with professional advice and superior service levels
